Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 8x8” baking pan with parchment paper; set aside. In a small bowl, sift the flour and cocoa powder together, and then whisk in the salt. Set aside. Then, brown the butter. Add the butter to a saucepan over medium-hight heat. Allow to melt and slightly brown (about 3 minutes). Remove from the heat and allow to slightly cool (2-3 minutes). Then, add in the chocolate chips and mix until the chocolate chips have melted into the butter, and the mixture is smooth. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla together until thick and pale (beat for at least 3 minutes, this will get the crinkle top). Once the brown butter and chocolate mixture has slightly cooled, pour into your beaten eggs. Gently fold the chocolate mixture into the eggs until well combined. Add in the flour mixture, and gently fold until well combined. Spread half of the batter into the lined pan. Then, dollop the peanut butter on top and spread. Add the remaining brownie batter on top of the peanut butter, and spread to cover the filling as best as you can, it doesn’t have to be perfect! Bake for 33-35 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly. Then sprinkle with flaky sea salt, slice into 16 squares, and serve. Enjoy!
