Aka the holiday oatmeal bowl of your dreams ☁️ Ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice—those sweet and spicy smells might make you think of cookies, but trust me when I say you should TOTALLY put them in your breakfast instead 😌 Speaking of gingerbread, it has both molasses, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in it! All three of these ensure that you get that sticky, delicious and cozy taste of gingerbread. This oatmeal is deliciously thick. Not too sweet, has a spicy kick from the ginger and will keep you warm all morning long — that warm bowl of comforting deliciousness you would hope for from a good, gingerbread flavored breakfast 🤍

In a small pot, add the oats and almond milk, stir to combine. Place on stovetop and cook on low-medium heat for about 3-4 minutes. Stir every once in a while. When it starts to thicken, place on low heat. Add in brown sugar, molasses, vanilla extract, and spices. Stir to combine. Cook for addition 2-3 minutes on low heat to let it warm up the spices. Once your desired concisely is reached, remove from heat and stir in protein powder. Dish out into bowls, top with all the goodies + eat while warm! Enjoy!
