Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease a 8x8” or 7.5x10.5” baking dish (depending on how deep you want the cake to be) with butter. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside. Brown the butter. Add the butter to a saucepan over medium-high heat. Allow to melt and slightly brown (~5 minutes), while stirring continuously. Remove from heat and immediately pour into a medium bowl. Slightly cool (1-2 minutes), then add in both of the chocolate chips. Mix until they have fully melted into the butter. Set aside. In a separate large bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together, until the mixture is pale, frothy, and slightly thickened. Continuously whisk as you stream in the brown butter/chocolate mixture, until well combined and smooth. Add in the flour/cocoa powder mixture, and mix until just combined and there are no flour streaks. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, and then place the pan onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 30-38 minutes, until the edges are set but the middle is still slightly wobbly. Remove and let cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired. Enjoy!
