What you need

tbsp unsalted butter

tsp iodized salt

cup gluten-free flour

brown egg

tbsp sugar

cup milk

tbsp yeast
Instructions
In the bowl of a stand miser, combine the milk, yeast, and sugar. Allow to sit for 5 minutes, then whisk in the egg. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture to the yeast mixture and mix on low with the dough hook attached. Once combined, add another 1/3 of the flour mixture. Then, add 1 tbsp of butter at a time, mixing until incorporated after each addition. Once all of the butter is added, add the last 1/3 of the flour mixture, and mix until the dough is formed. Knead on medium speed for 3-5 minutes, until the dough is smooth and soft. Transfer to a lightly greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and allow to rise at room temperature for 30-45 minutes. Gently deflate the risen dough, and then lay on a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 24 equal parts, and then loosely cover with a kitchen towel. For each piece, stretch and roll into a 10” log. Use your hands to form twists with the dough pieces. Loosely cover with a kitchen towel and repeat with remaining dough. Preheat air fryer to 350F. Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Working in batches, transfer the donuts to the air fryer basket in a single later. Spray the top of the donuts with non-stick coming spray and air fry at 350F for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining donuts. Remove from the air fryer and immediately toss in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Enjoy!View original recipe
