What you need

coconut oil

banana

oat milk

molasses

maple syrup

ground cinnamon

baking powder

salt

rolled oats

unsalted butter
Instructions
To start, add all ingredients to a blender (I used my @nutribullet Pro 900). Blend on high until the batter is smooth. Allow to sit for 10 minutes. While the batter is sitting, preheat the waffle iron according to instructions. Stir the batter well, at this point the batter should be thin enough to just run off the spatula. Pour the desired amount of batter onto the waffle iron and cook waffles until golden and crispy on the outside. Repeat with the remaining batter. While the waffles are cooking, make the caramelized bananas. Melt the coconut oil or butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add in the banana slices. Sprinkle the banana slices with the cinnamon and maple syrup. Cook the bananas for about 3-4 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until they’re caramelized on both sides. Remove from heat, and mix in the vanilla extract. Plate the waffles and top with caramelized bananas and powdered sugar if desired.View original recipe
