What you need

tsp almond extract

cup all purpose flour

cup light-brown sugar

tsp baking powder

tsp vanilla extract

pinch salt

cup salted butter

cup chocolate chips

avocado oil

cup avocado oil
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar. Add in the baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. Then, add in one egg at a time, mixing after adding each. Pour in the melted butter and oil (I used @chosenfoods Avocado Oil), and mix with a wooden spoon until completely combined. Cover the bowl and palace in the fridge for at least one hour. After letting the dough sit in the fridge, heat up the waffle iron. Spray your waffle iron with baking spray (I used @chosenfoods Avocado Oil Spray). Make small balls of dough and drop them onto the waffle iron (I did 4 at a time, but you can also make them as big or small as you want). Let bake until golden brown. Remove from the waffle iron with a fork or toothpick and transfer onto a cooling rack. Dust with powdered sugar and dip in melted chocolate if desired. Enjoy!View original recipe
