These cookie crumble bars are perfect when you're craving a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. The recipe features browned butter for a deep nutty flavor and uses unrefined brown sugar for a better-for-you treat.

What you need

tsp vanilla extract
egg

tbsp peanut butter

cup semisweet chocolate chips

cup brown sugar

cup plain flour

tsp salt

tbsp butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a small pot over medium heat, brown the butter and cool for 5 minutes. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl and set aside. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the brown butter, peanut butter, vanilla, and brown sugar and whisk until smooth. Add the egg and whisk until fully incorporated. Fold in the dry ingredients using a rubber spatula. Fold in chocolate chips or other add-ins you may be using.
