0 servings
What you need

powdered sugar

cup granulated sugar

banana

salted butter

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp vanilla extract

cup milk
egg

cup creamy peanut butter
cookie
Instructions
In a medium shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Then, prep your bread. Spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread, and then place another piece on top to create a sandwich. I used 3 pieces of bread, so I had 2 layers of peanut butter, but feel free to use 4 pieces if desired! Heat a nonstick cooking pan over medium heat, and grease generously with butter. Carefully dip all sides of the bread and peanut butter sandwich into the egg mixture, making sure to coat all sides well. Place the French toast onto the pan, and cook for about 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Once finished, place onto a plate. Then, sprinkle some of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top, and use a torch to caramelize the sugar until golden brown. Then place the banana slices on top, sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar, and use the torch again to caramelize the bananas until golden brown. You can alternatively caramelize the bananas on a pan over the stove by sprinkling cinnamon sugar on the flat side, and placing flat side down with some butter on the pan. Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar and maple syrup if desired. Enjoy!View original recipe
