Gingerbread Protein Oatmeal

Not too sweet, has a spicy kick from the ginger and will keep you warm all morning long — that warm bowl of comforting deliciousness you would hope for from a good, gingerbread flavored breakfast.

What you need

oz dried cranberries

cup greek yogurt

fl oz honey
tbsp brown sugar
pinch ground clove
tbsp molasses

tsp ground ginger

pinch ground allspice

oz vanilla protein powder

cup almond milk

cup rolled oats

tsp vanilla extract

tsp ground nutmeg
tsp ground cinnamon

gingerbread man cookies

tbsp pecan nuts
Instructions
In a small pot, add the oats and almond milk, stir to combine. Place on stovetop and cook on low-medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, stirring every once in a while. When it starts to thicken, place on low heat. Add in brown sugar, molasses, vanilla extract, and spices. Stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on low heat to let the spices warm up. Once your desired consistency is reached, remove from heat. Dish out into bowls, top with all the goodies, and eat while warm! Enjoy!View original recipe
