You heard it right - pretzel crusted chicken nuggets in the air fryer baby 🤝 They’re simple, crispy, are to dieee for with the homemade honey mustard, and make for the perfect quick lunch 😌

What you need

cup bread crumbs

tsp paprika

tsp onion powder

tsp garlic powder
brown egg

cup avocado oil

tbsp dijon mustard

tsp dijon mustard

cup honey
tbsp white wine vinegar
tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 380F. Blend the pretzels in a blender until completely crushed. In a medium bowl, mix together the crushed pretzels, panko breadcrumbs, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Set up a dredging station with the beaten eggs in a small bowl, the crushed pretzel mixture, and the cubed chicken. Start off by dipping the chicken cubes in the egg mixture, and then into the crushed pretzel and breadcrumb mix. Toss to ensure all sides of the chicken bites are well coated. Continue with the rest of the chicken and coating. Spray the basket of the air fryer with olive oil spray, and place the coated chicken bites in a single layer in the basket of the air fryer. Spray the tops with olive oil cooking spray. Air fry at 380F for 13-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy. While the chicken is in the air fryer, make the homemade honey mustard. Mix together all of the ingredients for the honey mustard in a medium bowl. Once the chicken bites are done, plate and serve with the homemade honey mustard. Enjoy!View original recipe
