Eggnog Waffle Bites

What you need
egg

tbsp half & half

tsp nutmeg

cup granulated sugar

cup all purpose flour

tbsp salted butter
tsp baking powder

cup dairy free milk

cup maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat your waffle maker according to instructions. To make the waffle batter, In medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Set aside. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sweetener, and eggnog. Then, stream and whisk in the melted butter. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and whisk until just incorporated (it’s okay if there are a few lumps). Spray the waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray. Add enough batter to fill each waffle section. Cook the waffles until golden brown. Once done, immediately roll in the granulated sugar to coat. Repeat with the remaining batter and coating. While the waffles are cooking, make the cinnamon cream maple syrup. Whisk together all of the ingredients in a medium bowl. Serve the waffles warm with the cinnamon cream maple syrup.
