AIR FRYER BACON CHEDDAR SCONES

What you need

iodized salt

tsp garlic powder

tsp italian seasoning

tsp salad dressing

cup shredded cheddar

cup milk
cup bacon bits

brown egg
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375F OR preheat your oven to 400F. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and seasoning. Stir in the 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, milk, and bacon crumbles. Mix together until a dough forms. Be careful not to overmix! Lay the dough out on a lightly floured surface and gently knead with your hands for ~15 seconds. Then, flatten the dough with your hands to 3/4” thickness. Using a biscuit cutter or a small round glass, cut out rounds from the dough. Repeat with the rest of the dough. Spray the basket of the air fryer with nonstick cooking spray. Working in batches, place the round scones in the basket of the air fryer. Brush the tops of the scones with egg wash, then sprinkle some extra shredded cheddar cheese on top of each, if desired. If using the air fryer, air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown. If baking in the the oven, place the rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with butter if desired.
